Vintage Wooden Sculptural Floor Lamp with New Shade

This lovely standing lamp is just the item for any one wanting to inject some vintage charm into their home. The sculptural base is the perfect perch for the stylish new drum shade.

Featuring stacked and shaped wooden blocks of alternating colours, threaded through a central thin brass rod, the lamp is a gorgeous example of 1950s design.

Emitting a cool and calming glow, the shade pairs beautifully with the base. 

As both the base and shade are quite slender and tall, it is all quite delicate to the touch and does wobble a little bit, although not unstable. We would however recommend positioning the lamp somewhere that won't get a lot of passing traffic. 

With wear commensurate with age and use. The lamp has been rewired with approximately 200cm of twisted 3 core, cream nylon flex and has been fitted with a new brass lamp holder (B22 bayonet bulb) and 3 pin UK plug. 

Measures approximately 162cm tall in total. The base itself measures approximately 123cm tall while the shade measures approximately 35cm in diameter and 40cm tall.
