This stunningly simple teak bureau by Herbert Gibbs is not only beautifully designed and crafted but practical and versatile too.
Herbert E. Gibbs was a London based furniture firm producing pieces from 1930-1970s, and sold beautiful quality furniture across the UK through esteemed retailers such as Heals.
Whether you're using as a sideboard, drinks cabinet, desk or simply for extra storage this lovely piece of furniture is perfect for both vintage and modern homes alike.
Featuring a folding down shelved desk, revealing letter racking, this is a nice neat desk for those that are short on space. Complete with working lock and key.
The bureau is unrestored (priced as such) and features marks, stains, scratching and some fading to one side. We have however given everything a fresh coat of oil, refreshing the bureau as best as possible without full restoration. For further images of the condition please visit the link in the last photograph.
A truly lovely piece of furniture that still has many more years in it.
Measures approximately 91.5cm wide, 40.5cm deep and 124cm tall.
