Manufactured by one of Sweden’s most distinguished 20th century furniture makers back in the 1960s. This teak sideboard by Nils Jonsson for Troeds Bjärnum is a beautiful and simple design, sure to blend in effortlessly with any contemporary or vintage home. A truly wonderful vintage piece with a quality name.
Focussed on high-end clients, Troeds sought lightness of form and functionality, producing pieces that were desired by design addicts. The concertina drawer section epitomises the desired Mid-Century minimalist look as it eradicates the need for protruding handles.
This particular model features stunning moulded handles to both the drawers and the sliding doors, along with a simple decretive cut out trim to the base.
The sideboard has been fully stripped, sanded and refinished, balancing up the colour and making it look beautiful once more. That being said as always there are some very minor areas of wear that couldn't fully be gotten rid of, that are simply commensurate with age and use.
Measures approximately 223cm wide, 45cm deep and 79.5cm tall.
