Vintage Teak Trio Sideboard by Troeds Bjärnum

Manufactured by one of Sweden’s most distinguished 20th century furniture makers back in the 1960s. This teak sideboard by Troeds Bjärnum is a beautiful and simple design, sure to blend in effortlessly with any contemporary or vintage/retro home. A truly wonderful vintage piece with a quality name.
Focussed on high-end clients, Troeds sought lightness of form and functionality, producing pieces that were desired by design addicts. The concertina drawer section epitomises the desired Mid-Century minimalist look as it eradicates the need for protruding handles.
The sideboard has been fully stripped, sanded and refinished, balancing up the colour and making it look beautiful once more. That being said as always there are some areas of wear that couldn't fully be gotten rid of, that are simply commensurate with age and use, however these areas have been nicely disguised. There are a couple of little fills along with some very faint ring marks to the right hand side (only really visible in certain lights / angles).
The top cutlery drawer has been re-felted in as close to the original and signature bold blue colour as we could find.
Measures approximately 191cm wide, 45cm deep and 79cm tall.
