Vintage Teak Trio Sideboard by Troeds Bjärnum

Manufactured by one of Sweden’s most distinguished 20th century furniture makers back in the 1960s. This teak sideboard by Troeds Bjärnum is a beautiful and simple design, sure to blend in effortlessly with any contemporary or vintage/retro home.
Focussed on high-end clients, Troeds sought lightness of form and functionality, producing pieces that were desired by design addicts. The concertina drawer section epitomises the desired Mid-Century minimalist look as it eradicates the need for protruding handles.
A truly wonderful vintage piece with a quality name.
The sideboard has been fully stripped, sanded and refinished. This is potentially not the first time this piece has been restored and as a result the veneer has become very thin leaving the new finish with a slightly uneven colour in places. This is only fully visible in certain lights and still looks lovely in situ. The top cutlery drawer has been re-felted in as close to the original and signature bold blue colour as we could find.
Measures approximately 191cm wide, 45cm deep and 79cm tall.
