Designed by Nils Jonsson for one of Sweden’s most distinguished 20th century furniture makers back in the 1960s. This 'Trio' sideboard for Troeds Bjarnum is a beautiful and simple design, sure to blend in effortlessly with any contemporary or vintage/retro home.
Focussed on high-end clients, Troeds sought lightness of form and functionality, producing pieces that were desired by design addicts. The concertina drawer section epitomises the desired mid-century minimalist look as it eradicates the need for protruding handles.
The prestigious 'Troeds' maker’s stamp is still present on the inside of the cabinet which also boasts dovetail joints, hidden drawer handles and solid oak tapered legs. A truly wonderful vintage piece which we're sure won't be in stock for long.
As shown in the photographs the sideboard has visible signs of use and wear. From scrapes and scratches to knocks and noticeable marks. That said, it is still structurally sound and despite being well used, there are still many more years of enjoyment in this item yet.
Measuring approximately 191cm long, 45cm deep and 79cm tall, it's the perfect addition for anyone looking for a piece of understated mid century design that has had a life well lived.
