Vintage Teak Sideboard by John Herbert for Younger

A. Younger Ltd was a high quality British furniture manufacturer that led the way for style and contemporary taste from the 1950s. Younger furniture was manufactured in low volume, was well made and aimed at the top end of the market.

One of the first firms to make Scandinavian inspired furniture in the UK and ultimately one of the first manufacturers to abandon the style completely in the late sixties in the search for something more original and cutting edge.

This long sideboard is a beautiful piece of furniture, perfect for adding some Mid-Century style into your home. With ample storage space for a while manner of carefully curated items, this piece is sure to demand attention wherever it's placed.

In general good condition with the usual light surface markings and wear commensurate with age, along with some deeper scratching as photographed. The top however has been fully stripped back and refinished riding it of old stains and fading, balancing up the colour once more. The rest of the sideboard is in its original condition but has been given a thorough clean and oil inside and out, conditioning the wood and making sure it gets to you looking its very best.
