Often incorrectly attributed to Danish furniture company Mogens Kold Mobelfabrik, this lovely teak sideboard was actually manufactured in England by Bath Cabinet Makers (BCM) and appears in their 1968 catalogue.
The Danish influence is strong in this sideboard which is made from solid and veneered teak with contrasting afrormosia handles.
There are two drawers at either end, one of which contains a removable sliding cutlery tray with dividers. The central doors slide open to reveal two cupboards with shelves.
After a full strip, sand and refinish this sideboard is looking beautiful, the rich teak colour balanced and enhanced once more. That being said as with any vintage item there may still be some slight wear and tear commensurate with age. The cutlery drawer felt has been replaced.
A stunning piece of furniture with a characterful design that brings real retro mid-century style to any room.
Measures approximately 198cm long, 46cm wide and 74cm tall.
