This lovely Danish sofa and arm chair set by Domino Mobler is modest in design but bursting with charm that will certainly enhance any living space.
It is unmistakably Mid 20th Century, its simple clean lines and warm wood colour sure to add texture to any room.
According to Sotherby's Domino Mobler is considered one of the leading pioneers of Danish Modern Design. Their elegant but functional furniture always featuring a stylish finish.
The cushions are all original and have been professionally cleaned, although do still show signs of light wear commensurate with age and use. The wooden frames have been fully stripped, sanded and re-finished, enhancing the rich colour of the wood and making them look beautiful once more. That being said there are some dints to the wood in places due to the design of the back rest, as photographed. There were some missing metal pins that hold the back rest into the frame, we've had more made making the couch complete once again.
The sofa measures approximately 127cm wide, 81cm deep and 72cm tall with a seat height of 43cm, while the arm chair measures approximately 71cm wide, 81cm deep and 72cm tall with a seat height of 43cm.
