This lovely set of Remploy teak drawers with inset sculpted handles is bursting with mid 20th century charm and style.
Founded by Ernest Bevin, Remploy opened their first factory in 1946 in Bridgend, South Wales with the company’s original workforce mainly made up of disabled ex-miners. Today, Remploy remain one of the largest employers of disabled people in the UK.
In general good condition with wear commensurate with age. The top has been stripped and re-finished ridding it of an old cup ring and balancing up the colour once more. There have been a few areas that needed filled and painted back in, as photographed, but these are now nicely blended in. The rest of the drawers have had a fresh coat of oil, cleaning and conditioning the wood and making them look their best once more.
Measures approximately 77cm wide, 42cm deep and 99.5cm tall.
All of our prices include VAT, please get in touch if you require a VAT receipt.
