Fern set up his pottery business in the small seaside town of Porthleven near Helston in Cornwall UK. The pottery production however was very short lived and ran through the 70s and early 80s and closed in the mid late 80s.
The shade is also vintage and features a textured beige fabric. We've had he lamp rewired with approximately 177cm of cream three core twisted nylon flex, complete with a new brass lamp holder (bayonet B22), and three pin UK plug.
In nice condition with light wear commensurate with age including a little chip to the bottom rim. Overall the lamp measures approximately 37cm tall and 19.5cm wide. The base itself measures approximately 16cm tall, while the shade measures approximately 19.5cm wide and 22.5cm tall.
