This beautifully modest piece of furniture is extremely typical of its stylish 1960/70s era, and features some gorgeous design features.
The top lifts up to reveal a mirror, and storage section along with a laminate surface.
Stag Furniture has been a heritage British brand since its origination. However it was not until the early 1950s that Stag transformed from a 'cheap', down market company to the respected brand we know today. This was mainly down to the introduction of Architects and designers John and Sylvia Reid. Thereafter it was considered to be one of the most popular furniture ranges, its design, style and quality were well known and praised.
The top has been stripped, sanded and refinished, balancing up the colour and ridding it of stains and fading. The rest of the table has been given a fresh oil with a mixture that both cleans and conditions the wood.
In general good condition with wear commensurate with age and use. The mirror features some clouding and the laminate surface has a few minor stains.
Overall this is a handy compact piece of furniture that will seamlessly fit in any bedroom or dressing room.
Measures approximately 69.5cm tall, 105cm tall when the top is open, 77cm wide, 44cm deep and has an under table height of 53cm.
