This stunning glass Holmegaard light shade is the perfect item for anyone wanting to inject some Danish mid-century style and colour into their home.
Sure to hang proudly in any room of the house, this lovely small shade will instantly transform any drab interior into a colourful and fun place to be.
Holmegaard have been producing the highest quality mouth blown glass since 1825. During the 20th century, artists were hired by the company, designing and shaping Holmegaard’s glass products. This was the start of a long and proud tradition, and as a result, even to this very day, some of the best artists in Denmark are associated with Holmegaard’s glass production.
The thick purple glass is in overall good condition with light wear commensurate with age. The top rim underneath the wooden cap features some small nibbling.
Please note this listing is for the shade and wooden cap only which will fix to any existing pendant lamp holder. We recommend using an electrician to install as it will require the wire being taken out of the lamp holder to feed through the hole and then rewired once inside the shade.
