This lovely set of drawers is modest in design but bursting with charm and style. The uncomplicated, simple clean lines really make this piece a classic in mid-century modern design.
The furniture manufacturer, Avalon was a British company based in the town of Yatton in Somerset. At the time of the Industrial Revolution a furniture factory was established under the name of Avalon, initially manufacturing church pews and school desks.
Featuring three drawers of differing height, this handy little set would be perfect for the bedroom or even in a living room, hallway or bathroom.
Fully stripped, sanded, knocks filled and refinished, this once tired set is looking beautiful once more. As with most restored pieces there are still some minor signs of wear commensurate with age and use, however there are no nasty stains and the colour has been balanced and is nice and rich once more.
Measuring approximately 81.5cm wide, 43cm deep and 67cm tall.
