Danish furniture has always been know and praised for its premium quality and exceptional design, and this beautiful single dining chair is certainly no exception.
Designed by Harry Ostergaard this model 59 chair was first produced for Randers Mobelfabrik of Denmark in 1960, and looks just as good today as the day it was made. The sleek lines and solid, moulded curved back is not only pleasing on the eye but designed with comfort in mind too. The perfect item for any lover of simple Mid 20th Century Danish design.
The chair came to us in a pretty bad state, featuring old soiled, ripped upholstery, faded, stained and marked wood, with a big chip where the curved back rest met the back leg. After a full restoration it is now looking absolutely stunning once more. That being said there may still be some small areas that show minor traces of its former life.
Measures approximately 50cm wide, 47cm deep, and 76cm tall with a seat height of 47cm.
All of our prices include VAT, please get in touch if you require a VAT receipt.
