








This striking black and white photographic print by celebrated photographer John Chillingworth is sure to look great in any interior.
John Chillingworth was born in London in 1928 and served as an Army photographer during the Second World War. He worked for 'Picture Post’ from 1949-1956, producing over 400 photo-essays for the magazine. After 1956, Chillingworth concentrated on journalism and continued to take photographs on a freelance basis.
The original photograph from which the print was taken from was photographed in Leeds in 1955 and is signed by Chillingworth in blue ink.
In general good condition with wear commensurate with age, including some scratching and cracking to the perspex and some chips and marks to the frame.
Measures approximately 47.5cm tall and 37.5cm wide and 1cm deep.
