This beautifully simple, delicate set of six smoke glass drinking glasses by Per Lütken for Holmegaard are perfect for anyone wanting to inject some Danish mid-century style into their home.
Holmegaard have been producing the highest quality mouth blown glass since 1825. During the 20th century, notable artists were hired by the company, designing and shaping Holmegaard’s glass products. This was the start of a long and proud tradition, and as a result, even to this very day, some of the best artists in Denmark are associated with Holmegaard’s glass production.
Per Lütken joined the company in 1942 and remained Holmegaard's artistic director until his death in 1998. During his 56 year tenure, Lütken introduced the latest developments in art glass at the time and revolutionised traditional glassmaking through pioneering forms.
In beautiful condition for their age, chip and crack free.
Measures approximately 5.5cm wide and 15.5cm tall.
