Son of esteemed British poster designer Tom Eckersley, Richard Eckersley is best known for experimental computerised typography based designed.
Later becoming head of the School of Art and Design at the London College of Printing where many of his fathers posters were printed.
This simple exhibition advertisement poster is the perfect addition for any wall, great for anyone that has a keen eye for 20th Century design and typography.
It's most likely that these posters were used around the university campus for the intended purpose of advertising the exhibition. The previous owner may have attended or even shown in the exhibition and acquired the poster as a souvenir?
As with most items of this nature it features wear commensurate with age, including discolouring, old pin holes, small tears, and some creasing, staining and other marks.
