Vintage Pair of Danish Dansk Pottery 'Brown Mist Generation Tableware' Bowls by Niels Refsgaard

Created in 1954 by Ted and Martha Nierenberg to bring the elegant simplicity and natural materials of Scandinavian design to the American market at reasonable prices, Dansk’s clean, considered designs for the kitchen, table and home helped define a new era of style.
These particular bowls, a large salad serving bowl and a smaller bowl, are from the Generation Ware range first introduced in 1968 designed by Niels Refsgaard.
Both are in general good condition with light surface ware commensurate with age and use. The small bowl features some small chips the bottom rim as photographed.
The larger bowl measures approximately 27cm in diameter and 12cm tall, while the small one measures approximately 15.5cm in diameter and 7cm tall.
