Vintage Original Portrait Painting by Artist Greg Cooke Dated 1970

Here we have another great painting which we know absolutely nothing about unfortunately. Purchased across the border in Scotland, we have been unable to find out anything about the artist or even where it has come from.

Perhaps taking influence from surrealism greats such as Salvador Dalí, and René Magritte, our artist Greg Cooke has chosen bold, bright colours to really make this possible self portrait stand out and be noticed.

Dated 1970, the portrait measures approximately 76cm wide and 91.5cm. The large size of this unique oil on hardboard piece really makes the difference and is sure to be a welcome addition to any eclectic interior.

Featuring paint loss, scuffed corners and general wear all over but nothing that detracts from its overall appearance.
