These beautiful black and white photographs were taken by amateur photographer Ian Reeves back in the 1950s and 1960s.
Sadly Reeves passed away in the summer of 2018 leaving behind an extensive body of stunning photography work that we're now happy to have the chance to share with you. We acquired a large amount of Mr Reeves' work in a local auction together with some of his developing equipment and have since enjoyed them ourselves and loved having them displayed around our studio.
What's especially nice about these photographs is that Reeves was a local man with many of his images featuring local landmarks and places now long changed.
This particular photograph features a quaint English village street with lady and toddler and comes complete with critique notes from his photography society. At the top of these notes is also a detailed description of when the image was captured, his developing process and the equipment used.
A lovely piece of art and history which is sure to look great on any wall.
In noticeably used condition with some foxing, marks and creasing to both the photograph and the critique sheet.
Measures approximately 38cm tall and 30.5cm wide.
