Vintage Oak Tallboy Chest of Drawers by Meredew

This lovely tall chest of oak drawers by Meredew is perfect for any bedroom, and with six good sized drawers, there is ample storage space. 

Meredew were a substantial quality mid 20th century manufacturer who concentrated on large ranges of interchangeable furniture for the dining room and bedroom. 

The drawers came to us very discoloured and with bad chipping to the veneer. After a full strip and refinish the drawers are looking beautiful once more. That being said they are not without visible fault, most noticeably the sympathetic triangular fills to the chipped veneer. They also came to us without legs so we've sourced as close to the original size as possible, which are slightly taller than the originals. 

With their lovely honey coloured wood, we're sure this classic chest of drawers will enhance any room they're placed in.
