Vintage Oak 6 Drawer Chest of Drawers / Plan Chest

This handsome chest of drawers is sure to look great in any room of the house. 

They came from a local furniture store, Vaseys that is about to close down. 

Vaseys is a historic family-run furniture retailer in Carlisle and Penrith with a legacy spanning 135 years. Established in 1890, the business evolved from local auction rooms into a prominent regional furniture store, selling high end furniture. 

These drawers were from the back of house and have been storing a plethora of ephemera for many many years. The back also has a panel of varnished oak plywood, so they would look just as great in the middle of a room too. 
 
With visible wear, proudly displaying their history for all to see. We have given the drawers a thorough clean and oil, conditioning the wood and making sure they look their very best once more. That being said there are some markings, scratching and some chipping to veneer that are all commensurate with age and as photographed.  

Measures approximately 82cm tall, 132cm wide and 61cm deep.
