Vintage Large Orange Fibreglass Rocket Style Floor Lamp

This stunning fibre glass rocket style lamp is somewhat of a design icon of its era, and a sure must have for any Mid Century enthusiast. With its striking teak tripod support and base and bright floating tubular shade, copied time and time again, it's just as modern and stylish today as the day it was made.
Emitting a warm and calming glow, this larger than average floor lamp is perfect for creating a relaxed and cozy atmosphere.
With obvious wear to the fibreglass including some nibbling to the rim, small defect holes, old sellotape marks and general surface wear to the wood. We think someone has applied a varnish to the fibreglass at some point as there are some drips and brush hairs that are now unfortunately part of the shade.
The lamp has been rewired with 3 core, twisted nylon flex (approximately 220cm where the flex meets the floor to the plug), together with a new brass lamp holder and three pin UK plug and floor switch.
Measures approximately 145cm tall and 29cm wide at the base, with a 18cm shade diameter.
