These striking large letter lights are perfect for adding some fun and colour into any interior space.
Salvaged from a now retired fairground stall, these lights once spelled 'Amusements' and attracted countless folks to play on the 2p penny fall machines, whac-a-mole, claw cranes and a whole assortment of other games and events.
We've had each letter fully rewired and updated to make them suitable for domestic use. Each lamp holder now has a new LED E17 pygmy screw bulb and emits a lovely bright warm orange glow.
We think the letters were homemade back in the late 70s/early 80s and have travelled the length and breadth of the Borders ever since. They have been well used throughout their exciting working lives and as a result have plenty of marks, wear, scratches, chips, paint splatters, cracks, repairs, alterations/makeshift fixes. All commensurate with age and use and as photographed.
An ideal decorator's piece with a story, sure to make a statement in any room.
Measures approximately 56cm tall, 69.5cm wide and 13cm deep, with approximately 240cm of red and white nylon flex.
SAFETY NOTICE. Please make sure that the lights are unplugged when changing the bulbs. If for any reason you need to remove the back plate, again make sure that the light is unplugged to avoid contact with live wiring.
