Vintage Large Avery Shop Weighing Scales

These beautiful 1960s shop scales are a definite trip down memory lane. We fell in love with their size and the nostalgic image of them sat proudly on the desk of an old grocers shop.
In classic blue and white these lovely Avery scales are measured in pounds and ounces and can weigh up to 3lbs. They are sitting slightly over the zero mark, but this can be easily adjusted by unscrewing the chrome plate underneath the bowl and removing some of the ballbearings).
In general good condition for their age, there are the usual marks to the enamel along with some light tarnish to the chrome and scratching to the plastic.
It’s worth noting that they are very heavy, so would need a sturdy work surface to sit on.
There's no better sight in a functioning kitchen than vintage kitchen scales, especially oversized ones. There's no doubt these beautiful scales will be a talking point in any home or business.
