This cute little foldable plastic table lamp is extremely typical of its mid 20th century era and is sure to look great wherever it's placed.
Produced for the first time in Japan in the 1960s by the Yamada Shomei Lighting Co. these lovely little lamps were sold all over Europe under various different well known lighting companies.
Featuring a neat foldable design, the light turns on and off by simply opening and shutting the lamp. It can also be wall mounted, although this way looks a little clumsy due to the way the wire hangs (the wire here is also quite short, approximately 136cm, so is probably best for use on a table top).
In general good condition with wear commensurate with age and use, including some fading, scratching and light surface wear.
Measures approximately 10cm wide and 16.5cm tall when folded shut and 19cm wide and 21cm tall when opened at a right angle. Takes a small A15 fridge bulb.
