Vintage G Plan Spider Coffee Table

A sleek and stylish design typical of the 1960s period, this G Plan coffee table from their highly successful Fresco range has become somewhat of a design classic and is much sought after. 

Designed by Victor B Wilkins, probably the most famous and popular designer for G Plan, he took many of his design inspirations from the Scandinavian style of furniture. 

The previous owner of the table had refinished the table with a horrible varnish that was streaky and very red in colour. As a result the table has been fully stripped, sanded and refinished and is looking beautiful once more. That being said there may be some minor signs of wear commensurate with age.

As to be expected the glass also has some light surface scratching which has been very hard to capture on camera.
