Vintage G Plan Circular Astro Teak Wood and Glass Coffee Table

A sleek and stylish design typical of the 1960s period, this G Plan coffee table from their highly successful Astro range has become somewhat of a design classic. 

Designed by Victor B Wilkins, probably the most famous and popular designer for G Plan, he took many of his design inspirations from the Scandinavian style of furniture. 

The table came to us in a very sorry state. The wood was badly water stained, dry and heavily discoloured. A full restoration was needed and as a result the table has been stripped, sanded and re-finished making it look absolutely beautiful once more. 

As to be expected the glass also has some surface scratching which has been very hard to capture on camera.
