Vintage Finn Juhl Model FD535 Solid Teak Danish Coffee Table by France & Son

This beautiful small coffee table by Finn Juhl for France & Son is the perfect item to inject some mid 20th Century sophistication into any home. 

Finn Juhl is perhaps one of the most influential designers of his time, renowned for his iconic furniture designs and for revolutionising the Danish furniture tradition with his sculptural and artistic vision. 

The upturned carved edges along the length of the table are a stunning design feature, adding interest to its minimal aesthetic.

Constructed from solid teak, the top has been fully stripped, sanded and re-finished, ridding it of stains, marks and balancing up the reach teak colour once more. One of the corners has had a small fill, which has been blended in and not very visible. The base is in its original condition, with some minor bumps, scratches and marks commensurate with age. It has been given a fresh coat of oil, a mixture that both cleans and conditions the wood. 

A modest design that is sure to create maximum impact wherever it's placed. A true collector's piece.
