









The iconic British furniture brand 'Ercol' is not only notorious for its blend of quality craftsmanship but for its stylish designs also. Since 1920, this family business has produced hand-crafted furniture that has certainly stood the test of time, and has become more than just a household name. Ercol is one of the few leading British post-war furniture manufacturers still in operation today.
Renowned for their innovation, Ercol have been continually celebrated for their pioneering approach to furniture making and were market leaders for many of their most famous features and materials.
This gorgeous model 305 tub chair was the forerunner of the Ercol easy chair, and was also available in a rocking chair option. Made from solid elm and beech this is a beautiful, classic item that is sure to enhance the interior of any home.
Parts of the chair have been stripped, sanded and re-finished, ridding it of old stains and fading. The rest of the chair has been given a fresh coat of oil, cleaning and conditioning the wood ensuring it looks its best once more. That being said there are still some minor signs of its previous life including some scuffs scratches and some light fading where upholstery straps were once attached.
Measures approximately 71cm wide arm to arm, 67cm deep and 82cm tall, with a seat height of 28cm.
