Arne Hovmand-Olsen is a Danish designer who was met with great success in the United States during the 1960s. The pieces of furniture designed by Hovman-Olsen are most certainly characteristic of the Scandinavian designs of the time with simple and clear lines. As a prolific designer, he's most famous for his chairs but also deigned tables and sideboards amongst other pieces of furniture.
We have stripped, sanded and refinished the top, ridding it of stains and balancing up the nice rich teak colour once more. The bottom frame shows signs of light wear commensurate of age and use but has had a fresh coat of oil making it look lovely once more. The rattan on the shelf has been replaced like for like, as it was broken and incomplete when we purchased it.
Measures approximately 65cm long and 48cm wide, and 55.5cm tall to the lip.
