Vintage Danish Metamorphic Table By Arne Hovmand Olsen For Mogens Kold

This absolutely stunning table is the perfect item to inject some Mid 20th Century sophistication into your home. Its ingenious design allows it to be both a coffee table and dining table by opening / folding the legs. The top also has two folding leaves making it the most adaptable table you could ever want.

Arne Hovmand-Olsen is a Danish designer who was met with great success in the United States during the 1960s. The pieces of furniture designed by Hovman-Olsen are most certainly characteristic of the Scandinavian designs of the time with simple and clear lines. As a prolific designer, he's most famous for his chairs but also deigned tables and sideboards amongst other pieces of furniture. 

The table came to us in beautiful original condition and has been extremely well looked after. We've given the table a simple clean and oil, conditioning the wood and making it look it's absolute best once more. There are some small areas of wear commensurate with age and use including some small dints and marks. 

When used as a coffee table it measures approximately 54cm tall, 100cm wide and 63cm deep when the leaves are down. When used as a dining table it measures approximately 70cm tall with a 68cm under table height, 100cm wide and 100cm deep when fully extended.
