We're always happy when we stumble upon items with a local history, especially when the design is as lovely as this.
Constructed from thick coated cardboard the lid lifts completely off to allow easy access inside, and was probably once used to send clean items home in. The colours and design are very typical of its era and is sure to look great in any eclectic home.
