Vintage 1990s Large Sea Grass Gondola Sofa / Loveseat

This eye catching sea grass gondola sofa is an absolute showstopper. A piece that will create huge drama and impact wherever it's placed. 

The sofa came from a local furniture store, Vaseys that is about to close down. Dead stock from the 1990s, it's never been used and has been kept in the store warehouse of Vaseys, patiently waiting for a home. 

Vaseys is a historic family-run furniture retailer in Carlisle and Penrith with a legacy spanning 135 years. Established in 1890, the business evolved from local auction rooms into a prominent regional furniture store, selling high end furniture. 

Although never homed, it does show signs of wear and tear and has some minor markings and snags to the sea grass here and there, as photographed. It is hard and does not give when sat on. 

It is very long and heavy so please make sure it will fit through doorways, staircases and corridors. The door to our studio is narrower than average but carried through on an angle, it just fit.

Measures approximately 307cm wide, 82cm deep, and 78cm tall with a seat height of 41cm.
