We were told this fantastic model was made as part of a school project in the 1970s and we can only assume the crafty pupil or pupils were awarded an A for their efforts. It's clear than many an hour has been spent making this piece and furthermore treasured for another 40-50 or so years.

Made from papier mache and plaster, there's been knocks, bumps and fixes over the years as there's something rattling about inside. There's also chips to the plaster and cracks but nothing that detracts from its overall appearance.
