This absolutely beautiful 1950s shaped wire and glass wall light is the perfect item for anyone wanting to inject some fun Mid-Century Modern style into their home. Sure to hang proudly on any wall and instantly transform any drab interior into a stylish haven.
The shape and pattern is extremely typical of its era, a timeless design that is sure to be in fashion for many more years to come.
The glass is in overall good condition with the usual light surface markings, while the wire frame features chipping to the cream paintwork throughout, all commensurate with age. The wire is a little out of shape so the glass does not sit completely flush.
The light has been rewired with a brass lamp holder (standard B22 bayonet bulb 40W MAX) and approximately 270cm of braided cream nylon flex, complete with switch and plug for easy installation. Should you wish, the cord can be removed in order for it to be hard wired into your rooms wiring circuit.
Measures approximately 29cm wide, 13.5cm deep and 22cm tall.
