This beautiful wooden rocking horse would have probably been the pride and joy of any young one back in the 1940/50s.
As much a stunning piece of artwork as it is a functional toy, we think it has possibly been hand made, with inspiration taken from a 1930s design by Kay Bojesen.
A lovely special gift still, or simply just a statement piece of decor, this charming rocking horse is sure to still bring joy and pleasure to any household.
When we acquired the horse it had an area that had cracked and split badly, we've had this professionally restored and it is now secure and smooth to the touch once more. With wear, scratching and marks all commensurate with age and use and as photographed. This item proudly displays its history for all to see and enjoy.
Measures approximately 91cm long, 27cm wide and 62cm tall with a seat height of 35cm.
