Vintage 1950s Brown Textured Sofa / Daybed

This lovely sofa / day bed is the perfect item to add some Mid 20th Century charm into your living space.
Able to fold down into a small sofa bed this is a versatile item that will suit the needs of any room, great for visiting guests or simply just to lounge on.
The upholstery and internal foam are both original, which we decided to keep as is leaving the item as authentic as possible. We have replaced the old stained and torn backing fabric with a black cotton/linen mix, elevating the sofa and making it look as best as possible. The wood has all been stripped, sanded and refinished riding it of its old tired varnish so it has a lovely new warm colour once again.
As the upholstery fabric is original there are some minor signs of wear here and there, including marks, snags and couple of very small holes, but generally very nice considering its age.
Measures approximately 198cm wide, 80cm deep and 77cm tall with a seat height of 41cm.
