This highly stylish 365+ BRASA floor lamp designed by A. Nilsson, H. Preutz, and T. Eliasson for IKEA is sure to add some class and sophistication into any home.
Originally released in White, Black and Red, it took its inspiration from Verner Panton's Panthella lamp from 1971. It was also available as a table lamp and large pendant light.
Featuring an oversized metal mushroom shaped shade with inner plastic diffuser, heavy round steel base and a chrome dimmer switch that is extremely tactile and very pleasurable to turn on and off.
While many sources online date the BRASA lamp to the late 90s / early 2000s, the first sighting of it we can find in the IKEA catalogues is 2010.
A gorgeous lamp and a classic piece of collectable IKEA design history.
In general good condition with light wear commensurate with age and use. The shade features some slight discolouration, marks and a small dint, all of which have been quite hard to capture on camera. Nothing that detracts from its overall look.
Requires a standard E27 screw bulb.
Measures approximately 154cm tall and 57cm wide.
