Vintage White Coral Branch Specimen / Sculpture

Corals are among the most important animals in the ocean. Even though they look like plants, corals are in fact animals that live in groups in tropical waters and stay in one place for their entire lives.

Where this eye-catching coral came from is a mystery but we think it dates back to the 1970s, most likely taken home by someone on their summer holiday. We do know however that this was used in an a home aquarium for many years until recently.

An ideal gift for anybody interested in natural science, this branch is such a beautiful natural sculpture with a fabulous shape and texture, one that is sure to fascinate with each and every view.
