This handsome wood and metal architect's drafting board is the perfect item for any artistic and creative person. A beautiful and unique item for any home or business, where great design and practicality fit seamlessly hand in hand.
Made by Italian company Neolt, who at the height of their production in the 1950s/60s/70s were considered one of the world leaders in drawing board manufacturing.
The angle of the drawing board is easily adjusted and can even be placed flat in order to create a unique table if so desired. The height is also adjustable making it adaptable for any style of work either standing or sitting. There is a handle little storage tray attached that is perfect for holding papers, pens, pencils etc.
With obvious signs of wear all over, including marks, chips, scratching and pitting as to be expected from an item of this nature and as photographed.
Purchased from a local auction, we were told that this item once belonged to esteemed Lake District artist Judy Boyes. A member of the Society of Women Artists and the British Watercolour Society, Judy Boyes has exhibited at the Royal Institute of Painters in Watercolours in London. Judy sells her originals and prints throughout Britain and abroad and has established herself as Lakeland’s leading artist.
Measures approximately 148cm tall, with an under tray height of 64cm, 100.5cm wide, and 64cm deep (leg length). The wooden board measures approximately 92cm wide by 73cm tall.
