This handsome 1970s chrome and teak framed coffee table is the perfect statement piece of furniture for any living room.
The combination of materials, colours and simple shape really make this table stand out, looking just as modern today as the day it was made.
We've been unable to attribute a designer / maker to this piece however it's similar in style to designs produced by Fristho and Merrow. Although we don't think it's by either of these companies, it was perhaps made by one of the companies that specialised in expensive contract work, of which there were a few in the late 60's and 1970's.
In general good condition with the usual surface markings, scratching and wear to all sections of the table, commensurate with age and as photographed. We've polished the chrome and re-oiled the teak section, conditioning the wood and making sure it gets to you looking its very best. There are some deeper scratches to the glass table top as to be expected, along with a little chip as photographed.
Please note that it is incredibly difficult to photograph all flaws and scratching on the glass due to all the reflections, but we have captured and described as best we can.
Measures approximately 122cm long, 61cm deep and 33cm tall.
