Vintage 1970s Tall Sculptural Lamp Base

This beautiful tall table lamp base is the perfect addition to any eclectic home. The interesting sculptural aesthetic and oversized proportions makes this piece brim with personality and charm. A fun item that is very typical of its atomic era. 

We've unfortunately been unable to identify a designer or manufacturer, but its striking design and heavy weight make us feel it's a quality piece. We suspect that it's made out of resin and then lacquered. 

With visible discolouring to the cream paintwork and some small chips here and there.

We've had the lamp rewired with cream 3 core nylon flex (approximately 202cm) along with a 3 pin UK plug and new brass lamp holder. Requires a standard B22 bayonet bulb. 

Measures approximately 59.5cm tall (65cm to the top of the lamp holder) and 14cm in diameter.
