This beautiful table lamp is the perfect addition to any home.
Turned circa 1930s by Carlos Zipperer from the Brazilian Araucaria Araucana tree, more commonly known as the monkey puzzle tree.
It's small size, sculptural form and stunning wood grain really make this a stand out piece.
As the shade is also turned from wood, so as you can imagine, once turned on, that lamp doesn't emit vert much light. It does however have a lovely warm subtle glow, that makes the knots in the wood glow a beautiful red colour.
In general good condition with light wear, commensurate with age, including some splits that have been glued over time. We've given the lamp a fresh coat of oil, cleaning and conditioning the wood, making it look its best once more. We've also had the lamp rewired with cream 3 core nylon flex (approximately 190cm) along with a 3 pin UK plug and small brass bayonet lamp holder (B15).
Measures approximately 19cm tall and 14cm in diameter.
