Founded by brothers Christian and Ernst Carstens in 1900, the Carstens Tonnieshof factory was located in Freden an der Leine, West Germany. The company was very successful post war, from 1947, producing a wide range of shapes and glazes. Designers included Trude Carstens (wife of Ernst Carstens), Heinz Siery, Gerda Heuckeroth and Dieter Peter.
This lovely green vase (model 6013-30) is sure to look great on any table, shelf or sideboard.
In general good condition with a small chip to the rim as photographed.
Measures approximately 30.5cm tall, 12.5cm long to the handle and 11cm wide.
