This lovely Remploy double wardrobe with inset sculpted handles is bursting with mid 20th century charm and style.
Founded by Ernest Bevin, Remploy opened their first factory in 1946 in Bridgend, South Wales with the company’s original workforce mainly made up of disabled ex-miners. Today, Remploy remain one of the largest employers of disabled people in the UK.
In general good condition with light wear commensurate with age and use including some minor scratches and marks. Inside the wardrobe comprises of two hanging rails, one full length and one set underneath a fixed shelf.
Measures approximately 124cm wide, 54.5cm deep and 177cm tall.
