Pieff was the must have name in high-end British furniture during the 1970’s. Pieff designs had a touch of Hollywood regency and were made using what they saw as the most glamorous materials available.
The trademark offering was furniture crafted from mirrored chrome, Brazilian rosewood, high quality leather and Pirelli webbing. With a reputation for excellence and seen as fairly exclusive, Pieff Furniture was sold through Harrods, Heals and other high-end furniture stores.
This handsome sofa designed by Tim Bates for the Kadia range is sure to add a touch of Mid-Century sophistication to any home, simple yet extremely stylish. Constructed from chrome and leather, this minimal style with low seat is a timeless design and just as fashionable today as the day it was first sold.
In general good condition with wear commensurate with age and use. There are some small marks and a couple of little snags to the vinyl backing (as photographed). We've had the leather cushions professionally re-dyed, balancing up the colour and making them look fresh once more. As a result the fabric is little stiff and matt, but once sat on they should soften and buff up over time. We've also had the black base fabric to the cushions replaced as this was ripped and heavily faded. The chrome frame has been polished and buffed, and is lovely and shiny once more.
Measures approximately 168cm wide, 83cm deep and 64cm tall with a 44cm seat height.
All of our prices include VAT, please get it touch if you require a VAT receipt.
