It is highly unlikely that we will ever find another item like this. Extremely unusual, skilfully made, and absolutely beautiful.
This oak and rosewood drinks storage box is the perfect item for those who have everything. Modest from the outside, but clearly made by a master craftsman, once the rosewood top is lifted, inside you'll find all the space you need to store your drinks bottles, glasses and other bar accessories.
Made with quality materials and featuring gorgeous rounded finger joints, this item is sure to enhance any interior.
With no makers marks we've been unable to identify a maker or brand. The family of the original owner hinted that it was most likely purchased from Heals as was the case with most of the other furniture in the house.
We've had the box fully stripped and refinished along with some fills and repairs as photographed. That being said, as always there are minor areas of wear that have not been able to be fully rectified, all commensurate with age and keeping character to the piece.
Measuring approximately 46cm wide, 46cm deep and 30cm tall.
