Vintage Italian Bamboo Coffee Table by Franco Albini

This lovely bamboo and glass topped coffee table by Italian born architect and designer Franco Albini is the perfect item to adorn any living space. 

Bamboo furniture is extremely fashionable right now and has a great light and airy exotic feel about it, looking just as at home in a modern minimal house as it would in a colourful retro one.

Through his creations Albini's modern furniture design merged the Italian traditional artisanship with the new forms of modernism. In his creations, Albini used raw, inexpensive materials. He exploited the very skilled Italian craftsmanship. This also meant an elegant design based on a minimalist aesthetic.

With wear and patina commensurate with age and use, including marks to the metal frame and rattan itself, along with some missing binding pieces and some surface scratching to the glass top, which we've been unable to capture on camera. 

Measures approximately 69cm in diameter and 50.5cm tall to the top of the rattan and 49.5cm tall to the glass top.
